Abby George is a Product Engineer with Valmet’s Recovery Process Technology group, based in Charlotte, NC. She has been with Valmet for two years, contributing to studies and projects involving Evaporators, Recovery Boilers, Power Boilers, and LignoBoost technologies. Prior to joining Valmet, Abby worked as a Process Engineer in the recovery department at Pactiv Evergreen’s pulp mill in Canton, NC, until its closure. She holds dual degrees in Chemical Engineering and Paper Science & Engineering from North Carolina State University.
